Calculation Chart and Chemical Compatibility Reference
Find the weight per gallon of the heaviest liquid you'll be hauling, then use the chart to determine the number of Surge Busters needed for your tank size. If your tank size falls between listed columns, add the amounts together, the chart itself walks through a worked example.
→ Braking Surge Force Calculator: run your own tank size and liquid weight to confirm the number of Surge Busters needed.
→ Surge Buster Calculation Chart (PDF): a printable reference version of the same sizing chart.
Anytime you are mixing other liquids, chemicals, aggregates, salt solutions, etc., the resulting weight per gallon of the liquid being hauled must be redetermined before calculating the correct quantity of Surge Busters. Failure to follow these requirements will cause the Surge Busters to fail and void the five-year warranty.
It is the customer's responsibility to determine the chemical compatibility of the liquid being transported with Surge Busters before installation. Liquid Surge Control, LLC's current standard for this determination is the table at the following link:

If you are not certain of the correct number of Surge Busters needed for your tank, contact Gary Maurer directly at gary@liquidsurgecontrol.com or (866) 787-4360 x101.
Notes
Surge Busters should not be in direct sunlight for more than six months.
If you haul something heavier than what is stated on your registration, the warranty will automatically be voided. If you want to haul a heavier product, call for more information on how to adjust the number of Surge Busters required.
